Here are photos from the conference
dinner on 7th June.
There was a conference on the Representation Theory of
p-adic Groups, at King's College London, June 6th-8th 2007,
on the occasion of Colin Bushnell's 60th birthday.
The conference covered the theory of representations (over
any field) of p-adic groups, the theory of types, harmonic analysis,
and applications to number theory.
The invited speakers were:
Dat (Paris Nord),
David Goldberg (Purdue),
Guy Henniart (Orsay),
Phil Kutzko (Iowa City),
Peter Schneider (Münster),
Vincent Sécherre (Marseille),
Freydoon Shahidi (Purdue),
Loren Spice (Michigan),
Martin Taylor (Manchester),
Marie-France Vignéras (Paris VII),
Jiu-Kang Yu (Purdue),
Ernst-Wilhelm Zink (Berlin).
The conference was an official event of the EU network
Arithmetic Algebraic Geometry and was partly
funded by a conference grant from the
London Mathematical Society. In
particular, there was funding to support the participation of UK-based
